This past weekend was a standout performance from two of my athletes and one of the best results I have had at a show as a coach.
@1dpumps brought home 2 silver medals in Classic Physique Novice and Open Class B, while clinching the Gold in Junior Classic Physique with the best physique we have put on stage together. I am IMMENSELY proud of the work this man put in over the last 12 weeks for this show. He was bigger, leaner and fuller than our last showing in bodybuilding and literally improves every single time he steps foot up there. At 22 years old he has endless potential and to be able to help him bring it alive is such a privilege. He’s also one of my closest friends which makes every bit of his victory that much sweeter for me. In the 3 and a half years we’ve worked together, we’ve packed on 20kg of lean tissue.
@lechewffproofficial brought home two gold medals in Bikini Novice and Bikini Open Class C on her way to grabbing the Overall Bikini title AT HER FIRST NPC SHOW!! It was our second show together after her gold medal at the Arnold Classic Model Search earlier this year, keeping our perfect record of 3/3 gold medals. She is such a professional and operates at a level that makes me so damn proud. Our next goal is the Bikini Pro Card in December which would make her the first South African woman to have earned pro status in 3 different federations - she is the definition of professional athlete.
Their next goals are both the NPC African Champs Pro Qualifier in December.
Excited is an understatement as we knew that this was just a warmup for both of them and that they were both only at 80% of what the final package in December is going to be.
